I can’t tell you how many times I’ve written about The Family Place and its annual Partners Card week-long shopping extravaganza over the last ten years, too many, but always with fervour and a frenzy that equates its philanthropic M.O—and this year is no exception.

This week The Family Place announced Leigh Danley, Tierney Kaufman Hutchins and Julian Leaver, as the 2018 co-chairs of Partners Card. A triple threat, this bundle of energy is challenged to raise $1M+ across the Dallas metroplex through The Family Place’s signature fundraiser.
The announcement took place at Nuvo, the quaint gift boutique on Oak Lawn Ave, where a gathering of loyal guests began the shopping mania of gifts, books, and jewellery items, with a portion of the evening’s proceeds benefitting the cause. Amidst the organized mayhem, Julian Leaver, aka The Dapper Diplomat, (also event extraordinaire for MTV RE:DEFINE this year) introduced his lovely co-chairs along with yours truly as this year’s Honorary Chair. Yes, I am honoured and thrilled to work alongside The Family Place and co-chairs for Partners Card 2018.
